Basketball Game Preview: Indian Land Warriors vs. Rock Hill Bearcats

The Indian Land Warriors will face off against the Rock Hill Bearcats at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Indian Land's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Rock Hill has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Indian Land is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Cross Creek, who was ranked 13th in their home state at the time (Indian Land was ranked sixth). Indian Land fell 58-51 to Cross Creek on Saturday. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Indian Land might have lost, but man, Michael Jones was a machine: he went 7 of 16 on his way to 26 points and four steals. Jones' evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brent Michael Terrell, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Rock Hill didn't have too much trouble with Aiken on Saturday as they won 65-46.

Having lost for the first time this season, Indian Land fell to 12-1. As for Rock Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
