Baseball Recap: West Allis Hale Comes Up Short

West Allis Hale lost against Marquette University last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies lost 13-6 to the Hilltoppers.

Luke Schaning made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Blake Etzel, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

West Allis Hale dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Marquette University, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Allis Hale will head out to challenge Superior at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marquette University, they will venture away from home to take on Catholic Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
