Basketball Recap: Ennis Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Ennis Mustangs lost to the Shepherd Mustangs on the road by a 66-49 margin.

Ennis' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shepherd, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ennis will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sheridan at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Shepherd, they will be home for the holidays to greet Joliet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shepherd has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three games.
