Basketball Recap: Lausanne Collegiate Wins Going Away Against Memphis East

While Lausanne Collegiate didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past the Memphis East Mustangs with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 63-44.

Zuri McClure produced another solid effort shooting 56% from the field en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Imir 'Trey' Harper was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Lausanne Collegiate is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Memphis East, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
