Sofia Blanco Game Report: vs Norwell

Marshfield came out on top against Norwell on Monday thanks in part to Sofia Blanco's efforts. Blanco made a splash, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. She played a big game the last time she faced Norwell back in April, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Blanco has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Blanco and Marshfield will face off against Duxbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Blanco's efforts, the Rams will roll in on a four-game winning streak.
