Basketball Game Preview: Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs vs. North Adams Green Devils

Lynchburg-Clay is 0-10 against North Adams since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs will welcome the North Adams Green Devils at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Lynchburg-Clay got the win against Felicity-Franklin by a conclusive 68-48.

Meanwhile, North Adams entered their tilt with Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Blue Jays 78-35. The Green Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

North Adams is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Lynchburg-Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Lynchburg-Clay was taken down by North Adams 74-41 in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lynchburg-Clay was down 39-16.
