Softball Recap: West Davidson Dragons vs. Lexington Yellowjackets
West Davidson's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lexington Yellowjackets as West Davidson made off with a 19-1 win. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.
Mahala Darnell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Darnell was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Meghan Leonard and Maci Harris did most of the damage at the plate: Leonard scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Harris went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three RBI.
