Volleyball Recap: Kearney Catholic Victorious

Kearney Catholic won the last time they faced Aquinas and things went their way on Saturday too. The Stars walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Monarchs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stars.

Kearney Catholic easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8.

Kit Schrock was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 15 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Kearney Catholic's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Aquinas, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Kearney Catholic and Aquinas will both be playing St. Cecilia the next time they take the court. The Monarchs will host the Bluehawks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Stars will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
