Covington entered their tilt with White Station on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Ava McCalla paced Covington's offense, picking up seven kills. McCalla got some help from Caroline Cole and her ten assists. Cole also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kenleigh Jacobs, racking up three apiece.

Covington's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for White Station, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Covington has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lawrence County on the 23rd. As for White Station, they will challenge St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
