Powell has gone 7-1 against Hot Springs County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Panthers will welcome the Bobcats at 1:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

While Hot Springs County was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Rocky Mountain's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-19, 28-26.

Powell's loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Hot Springs County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Powell took their victory against Hot Springs County when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
