It was a good run, but Johnson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Florin Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Johnson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-21.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Florin, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Johnson will take on Westlake Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
