Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian). They were the clear victor by a 67-45 margin over the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots on Wednesday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian was led to victory by Kyleigh Goode and Naomi Williams. Goode dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards, while Williams almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. Goode has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Janiah McBryde, who posted ten points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Freedom Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Allison Lett dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Trinity Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Freedom Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Village Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian will head out to face Village Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Freedom Christian Academy will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
