Volleyball Recap: Waynesville's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Waynesville had won three straight games and Katilyn Hanshaw did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Madison Mohawks with plenty of help from Hanshaw, who had 14 assists and 13 aces. Hanshaw is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Waynesville's got stronger as the match went on, holding Madison to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-12.

Waynesville's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Madison, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Waynesville will host Valley View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greenon at 10:00 a.m. on the 18th.
