Georgetown Day is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Saint James. The Mighty Hoppers blew past the Saints 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Mighty Hoppers as they're now sitting on three straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-1, 25-17.

Georgetown Day's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Saint James, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Georgetown Day and St. Andrew's Episcopal will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Saint James, they will square off against Frederick Force at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
