Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln County vs. Swainsboro

The Lincoln County Red Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Swainsboro Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln County is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Lincoln County earned a 4-2 victory over Washington-Wilkes.

Meanwhile, Swainsboro kept a clean sheet against Jefferson County on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Kaylee Cox and Kayla Crabb scored both of Swainsboro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Lincoln County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Swainsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Lincoln County came up short against Swainsboro in their previous matchup back in February, falling 2-0. Can Lincoln County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
