Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 73-45 loss at the hands of the Campbell County Camels. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Camels are ranked 42nd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Campbell County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Fancher, who on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Garyn Jackson, who en route to 13 points and eight rebounds.

Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Campbell County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-9.

As of now, neither Calvary Christian nor Campbell County have any future games scheduled.
