Soccer Game Preview: Beckman vs. Monticello

Beckman is a perfect 9-0 against Monticello since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trailblazers will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Beckman's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Monticello has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Beckman's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past West Branch 7-0. Beckman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by five goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Monticello duked it out with Tipton on Friday. The Panthers lost 5-1 to the Tigers.

Beckman has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine matchups. As for Monticello, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9-2.

Everything went Beckman's way against Monticello when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Beckman made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Trailblazers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
