Baseball Recap: Tri-County RVT Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Wednesday. Tri-County RVT lost 11-3 to Old Colony RVT. Tri-County RVT was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Old Colony RVT apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Noah Roche was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alden Welch Tyere, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Tri-County RVT and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Old Colony RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Old Colony RVT beat Tri-County RVT by a score of 1-0 later that day.
