Volleyball Recap: Weber Takes a Loss

Weber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Copper Hills Grizzlies.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 15-25, 25-20.

Paxton Lighthall paced Weber's offense, picking up ten kills. Lighthall got some help from Jake Ahlmer and his 20 assists.

Weber's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Copper Hills, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Weber didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against West Field on the 15th. As for Copper Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Skyline on the 18th.
