Bountiful entered their tilt with Bonneville on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakers a 2-0 shutout. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Bountiful's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Bonneville are ranked 95th).

Bountiful pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Bonneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
