Volleyball Recap: Riverside Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Excelsior Charter last Thursday, Riverside Prep came back down to earth. The Silver Knights fell 3-1 to the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights on Tuesday. The Silver Knights have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 19-25, 25-14.

Riverside Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Riverside Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against University Prep on the 2nd. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Excelsior Charter on the 2nd.
