Baseball Recap: Deseret Peak Takes a Loss

Deseret Peak and Juan Diego Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Deseret Peak had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Soaring Eagle by a score of 2-1. The Golden Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Deseret Peak's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Juan Diego Catholic, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.

While Deseret Peak had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
