Wyoming Seminary College Prep's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans 5-4. For the Blue Knights, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Colin Donovan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Donovan was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Donovan wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Shaun Behrens, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

The win got Wyoming Seminary College Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Wyoming Seminary College Prep will be playing at home against Bethlehem Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will venture away from home to challenge Northwest Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
