Basketball Recap: Castle Sets Scoring Season-High Against Farrington

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mililani, Castle was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Farrington Governors 68-43. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Castle was led to victory by Josiah Shinbara and Davis Mitchell. Shinbara almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds, while Mitchell went 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. The match was Shinbara's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Compoc-Bruhn, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.

Castle's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Farrington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Castle will head out to face off against Kaiser at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Farrington, they will welcome Kalani at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
