Basketball Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-20 loss at the hands of the Hillgrove Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-16 back in January.

Leading Hillgrove to victory were Kierra Jackson and Aeris Macon. Jackson dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards, while Macon dropped a double-double with 15 points and 18 rebounds. With that strong performance, Macon is now averaging an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game. Tori Thompson was another key player, putting up eight points and four blocks.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Hillgrove, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Osborne nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
