Soccer Game Preview: Oakleaf vs. Bolles

Oakleaf hasn't had much luck against Bolles recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Oakleaf Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Bolles Bulldogs at 7:20 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Oakleaf's offense. They fell just short of Bishop Kenny by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Crusaders are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in November of 2024, Bolles was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Fleming Island finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Bolles' draw gives them a new season record of 5-6-4. As for Oakleaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Oakleaf might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Bolles in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Oakleaf avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
