Basketball Recap: West Valley Takes a Loss

West Valley lost against Davis back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The West Valley Rams received a blow as they fell 62-45 to the Davis Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Pirates are ranked fifth).

West Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Davis, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

West Valley has already played their next matchup (against Sunnyside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Davis will take on Moses Lake at 4:30 p.m. on February 8th.
