Baseball Recap: Bracken Christian Comes Up Short

Bracken Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Llano Yellowjackets.

Dalton Dersch was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Bracken Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Llano, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Bracken Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Gateway Christian at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Llano, they will take on TMI-Episcopal in a tournament on Saturday.
