Carrollton had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Trenton on Wednesday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Sarah Ratliff paced Carrollton's offense, picking up eight kills. Ratliff got some help from Kinsey Fisher and her 20 assists. Fisher also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Morgan Brown, each putting up four.

Carrollton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Trenton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20-4 record this season.
