Basketball Recap: St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Comes Up Short on the Road Against North College Hill

St. Bernard-Elmwood Place had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through an 82-31 loss at the hands of the North College Hill Trojans. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Deondrea Chambers produced another solid performance shooting 62% from the field on his way to 20 points and five rebounds for North College Hill. Chambers has also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 58% every time he's hit the court this season. Joshua O'Hara was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points along with five boards and four steals.

North College Hill's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place will head out to square off against Ludlow at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North College Hill, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-63 win against Fern Creek on the 6th.
