Volleyball Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Alexandria Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Alexandria, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Apollo will square off against rival Fergus Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alexandria is set to take on their familiar foe Rocori at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
