It was a good run, but Lee-Scott Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery Academy Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7.

Montgomery Academy can attribute much of their success to Kaci Armistead, who had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Armistead a new career-high.

Lee-Scott Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Montgomery Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Lee-Scott Academy will face off against St. Anne-Pacelli at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montgomery Academy, they will square off against Percy Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
