Mount Notre Dame has gone a perfect 3-0 against Springboro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Mount Notre Dame will head out to take on Springboro at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mount Notre Dame is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Archbishop McNicholas, who was ranked seventh at the time (Mount Notre Dame was ranked 15th). Mount Notre Dame fell just short of Archbishop McNicholas by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While Mount Notre Dame didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Archbishop McNicholas 25-19 in the first set.

Mount Notre Dame took Archbishop McNicholas into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-11, 25-23, 19-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Springboro came up short against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy on Saturday and fell 3-1.

While Springboro ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 27-29, 25-18.

Springboro's defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Mount Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Mount Notre Dame took their victory against Springboro when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Notre Dame since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
