There's no place like home for Hickory, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Iredell Warriors on Tuesday. The Red Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Hickory never let West Iredell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-15.

Hickory's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for West Iredell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hickory is set to take on their familiar foe East Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Iredell will square off against rival Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
