Hamlin extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jayci Trowbridge. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Britton-Hecla Braves on Thursday thanks in part to Trowbridge, who had 19 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hamlin was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-7.

Despite the loss, Britton-Hecla still got an impressive performance from Ava Teveldal, who had 23 digs.

Hamlin's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Britton-Hecla, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.

Hamlin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Deuel at 7:30 p.m. on the 27th. As for Britton-Hecla, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Great Plains Lutheran on the 21st.
