Softball Game Preview: Woodstock North Thunder vs. Woodstock Blue Streaks

Woodstock North is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Woodstock is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Thunder will host the Blue Streaks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Woodstock North came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Sandwich, falling 11-1. The Thunder's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Woodstock made easy work of Crystal Lake South on Saturday and carried off a 10-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Streaks in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won three in a row.

Woodstock's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Woodstock North, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Woodstock North was able to grind out a solid win over Woodstock in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-0. Do the Thunder have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Streaks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
