Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paramount). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lynwood Knights a 21-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Paramount's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-11. As for Lynwood, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Paramount beat the Knights by a score of 20-2 later that day.
