Basketball Recap: Stadium Takes a Loss

Stadium lost against Auburn back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stadium Tigers came up short against the Auburn Trojans, falling 73-49. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Trojans are ranked fourth).

Stadium's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Auburn, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Stadium will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kentwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Auburn will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Leuzinger at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Auburn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Leuzinger likes a good challenge.
