Basketball Recap: Cave City Comes Up Short

Cave City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Yellville-Summit Panthers, falling 49-20.

Cave City's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Yellville-Summit, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cave City will venture away from home to take on Valley Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yellville-Summit, they are taking a road trip to challenge Salem at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Yellville-Summit surely won't give up without a fight.
