Softball Game Preview: Orrville Red Riders vs. Aquinas Knights

The Orrville Red Riders will venture away from home to face off against the Aquinas Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orrville is coming into the match on a 16-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Orrville fell victim to Triway and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 22-0.

Meanwhile, Aquinas was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to Central Christian.

AyraBella Bacorn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ta'Leyah Williams, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Orrville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
