Soccer Game Preview: Gulliver Prep vs. NSU University

Gulliver Prep and NSU University are an even 2-2-2 against one another since December of 2018, but likely not for long. The Gulliver Prep Raiders will be taking part in a tournament against the NSU University Sharks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Gulliver Prep's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Pine Crest as Gulliver Prep made off with a 4-0 win. Considering the Raiders have won six games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Pine Crest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Taro Ochi (2), Jorge Gouvea, and Justin Merner.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, NSU University made sure to put some goals up on the board against Benjamin on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 6-2 victory. With that win, the Sharks brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

The victory made it two in a row for NSU University and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1. As for Gulliver Prep, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-1.
