Basketball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Full Life Christian Academy's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Full Life Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 63-42 to the Maranatha Baptist Christian Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since January 30, 2024.

Full Life Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being JT Esfeller, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Senseny, who had 14 points.

Full Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Maranatha Baptist Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Full Life Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 59-43 win against Varsity Opponent on the 9th. As for Maranatha Baptist Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Stephens at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
