Volleyball Recap: Mills Comes Up Short

Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oak Grove Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Oak Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Mills will welcome Carlmont at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Grove, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Santa Teresa on the 15th.
