Soccer Recap: Chatham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Roxbury on Wednesday, Chatham came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Randolph Rams on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Chatham in their meetings with Randolph: they've now lost eight in a row.

Chatham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Randolph, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Chatham will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Sparta at 4:00 p.m. As for Randolph, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Roxbury on the 22nd.
