HCYA came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for HCYA, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

HCYA got a great performance from Jackson Davis as he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. What's more, Davis posted five strikeouts, the most he's had over his last four games.

At the plate, Luke Parish and Julien Hernandez did most of the damage at the plate: Parish scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Hernandez went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
