Blountstown hadn't done well against Liberty County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 16-25, 25-23.

Cyianna Smith paced Blountstown's offense, picking up 20 kills. Smith got some help from Mackenzie Bellamy and her 22 assists. Ashton Blackburn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Blountstown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Liberty County, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5.

Blountstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bay on the 9th. As for Liberty County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Marianna on the 9th.
