Volleyball Recap: Plattsmouth Comes Up Short

Plattsmouth lost against Ashland-Greenwood on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Bluejays, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-17.

Plattsmouth's offense was headlined by Ava Wilson and Piper Fitzpatrick, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Addison Robinson and her seven assists.

Plattsmouth has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Ashland-Greenwood, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Plattsmouth has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Nebraska City on the 9th. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Malcolm on the 9th.
