Baseball Recap: Pennington Comes Up Short

Pennington lost to Vincent on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli Butler made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Connor Timmerman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Pennington's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Vincent, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

Coming up, Pennington will take on Glencoe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Vincent has already played their next contest (against Maplesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
