Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Pearsall

Pearsall extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Xavier Rendon. The Pearsall Mavericks came out on top against the Devine Warhorses by a score of 98-90 on Tuesday thanks in part to Rendon, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 19 boards. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Ayden Rodriguez, who went 6 of 11 en route to 20 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Pearsall is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points per game. As for Devine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.
