Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Southlake Christian Academy's Third in Last Four Outings

SouthLake Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-47 win over the Concord Spiders.

Concord's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyzen Coleman, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyvonta Rushmeyer, who earned 11 points.

SouthLake Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Concord, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

SouthLake Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-41 victory against Parkwood on the 30th. Concord has also already played their next contest, a 74-51 win against Ballantyne Ridge on the 30th.
